Learn About Our Different Donation Funds
As the Preschool recovers from the devastation of hurricanes Helene and Milton, establishes a temporary location off island in Englewood, and sets out to purchase an appropriate on (Gasparilla) Island site on which to construct a new school: we are confronted with enormous financial challenges.
Challenge and transition bring with them inevitable complications and delays. Nevertheless, the Preschool has been aggressively moving forward on behalf of its families and students!
Everyday Fund
Help cover our teacher salaries, supplies and ongoing operational expenses required to run Boca Grande Preschool.

Construction Fund
The Construction Fund is for donors who wish to give specifically to the construction of the new Preschool. A larger campaign will be announced for this (!) but, for now, anyone wishing to help us literally build the future of our Preschool may do so by giving directly to this fund. Thank you!!

Endowment Trust
The money donated to this Endowment Trust is invested and never distributed! Only the income derived from the Trust investments is distributed to the Preschool; the larger the endowment fund, the greater the annual income for the Preschool annually—assuming wise investment. Gulf Coast Community Foundation manages over $400M in investments for this, and other endowments. Our funds should thrive with them!!
The intention of the Endowment Trust is to attract legacy donations. These can include pledges in wills, estates, charitable IRA distributions, and more. Historically, endowment gifts are substantial, offering donors the pride of lasting impact: endowment gifts strengthen and sustain institutions across decades and well into the (un)foreseeable future.
